RESPONSIBILITIES OF INTERCEPT APPLICATION USERS

By entering your username and password you acknowledge:

• that this username and password has been assigned solely to you by your Billing Entity, may not be shared, and you are responsible under the duties of your position for all entries, debt file uploads, downloads, reporting and any other activity conducted under your account;
• that you have been delegated signature authorization from your Billing Entity and are legally authorized to submit debt files on behalf of your Billing Entity; that upload of any debt file will be considered your certification under the pains and penalties of perjury that it is your intention to attach an electronic signature approval on behalf of your Billing Entity of the uploaded debt files;
• that you have read and shall comply with all documentation, applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures related to the intercept process as posted on the HELP tab of this application; that the debt file is being submitted in accordance with 815 CMR 9.00 and all debtors have been provided with the appropriate billing and due process notices;
• and that submission of any debt file shall operate as the Billing Entity's certification that the debt files have been validated as accurate and complete, that the Billing Entity has implemented due diligence practices to authenticate and validate that the debtor name and other personal information is accurate and complete in addition to the debt amount, type and delinquency, and debt file submissions are made in accordance with the Billing Entity’s legal authority to collect these debts and all applicable intercept and other laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
